President for utilising Maldives’s experience in country’s tourism sector

President M Abdul Hamid on Wednesday asked the newly appointed High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the Maldives Rear Admiral Nazmul Hassan to take necessary steps to utilise the experiences of Maldives to flourish the tourism sector in Bangladesh.
The President came up with the directives as the new high commissioner to Maldives made a courtesy call on him at Bangabhaban here this evening.
“Take necessary measures so that Bangladesh can develop the tourism taking the experience of the Maldives,” the head of the state told Bangladeshi envoy. He sought the President’s all-out cooperation during his assignment in the Maldives.
Giving a patient hearing to the new high commissioner, the President assured him of providing all-necessary supports to brighten Bangladesh’s image abroad.
Bangabhaban Secretaries and foreign ministry officials concerned, among others, were present there.
