President M Abdul Hamid directed the local administration and others concerned to go on tough to the teenage gang culture.
“Come down hard on the teen-gang culture . . . The guardians of the youths and local administration should be more aware of their drug abuse so that they could grow up properly,” he said.
The President, who is now on a weeklong visit to Kishoreganj district, said this on Wednesday while exchanging views with local lawyers, judges, government officials, freedom fighters, businessmen and some distinguished personalities of the district at Kishoreganj Circuit House here.
Giving priority to the national interest at all levels of development, he said the role of public representatives and local officials is very significant to ensure sustainable development at marginal level.
