President Abdul Hamid on Monday expressed his deep shock at the death of Syed Mainul Hossain, the architect of the National Memorial.
In a message of condolence, the President said the national will remember the contribution of Syed Mainul Hossain with deep gratitude as he prepared an extraordinary design of national memorial constructed in memory of martyrs of the War of Liberation.
Abdul Hamid conveyed deep sympathy to the members of bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
