Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, MP said, the present government is agriculture friendly government. The government will do whatever it takes to develop agriculture. Due to the government’s strict position and surveillance, the rice market could not increase anymore.
He said this as the chief guest of the early varieties of Aman paddy cutting program at the Chinirkuti, Itakhola in Nilphamari on Wednesday .
Presided over by Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension of Nilphamari Idris Ali. The meeting was attended by D C Mohammad Khaled Rahim, Superintendent of Police Zakir Hossain Khan, Sadar upazila chairman Abuzar Rahman, Nilphamari Mayor Dewan Kamal Ahmed, UP chairman Hafizur Rashid Manju and others.
