A preparatory meeting was held on the occasion of National Day for the first time on the historic 7th March in Tarash, Sirajganj. The meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad hall on 3 March Wednesday morning.
Chairman Moniruzzaman Moni was present as the chief guest at the preparatory meeting on the occasion of National Day on March 7 under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mejbaul Karim. Were present as special guests of Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Anwar Hossain Khan, Lecturer Morzina Islam, Upazila Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Obaidullah, Engineer Bablu Mia, Education Officer Akhtaruzzaman, Agriculture Extension Officer Nagib Mahfuz, Fisheries Officer Mashgul Azad, Rural Power General Manager Ashraf Uddin Khan, Social Services Officer SM Moniruzzaman, Project Implementation Officer Nur Mamun and other departmental officials, Tarash Sadar UP Chairman Babul Sheikh, Freedom fighters Gazi Arshedul Islam, Gazi Abdur Rahman, Gazi Saidur Rahman Gazi SM Abdur Razzak, Upazila Muktijoddha Sontan Command President Khalilur Rahman, Upazila Press Club Co-President Mohsin Ali, General Secretary of Reporters Unity Abdul Barik Khandaker and others.
As per the decision of the discussion meeting, the right size national flag will be hoisted during sunrise on Sunday 7th March, and discussion meeting and award distribution will be held at 11.00 am.
