A preparatory meeting was held online on Tuesday at the initiative of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) division to mark the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day 2020.
Senior Secretary of ICT Division NM Ziaul Alam, head of departments and agencies under the department and senior officials attended the meeting through online with State Minister for ICT division Zunaid Ahmed Palak in the chair.
The meeting decided to place wreaths at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on August 15 at Dhanmondi 32 on behalf of their respective organisations.
Besides, the ICT division decided to hold various programmes on the occasion of the day by organising discussion meetings, doa mahfils and two online seminars both in English and Bengali.
