T20 Cricket: Premier University upset Ctg University by 27 runs

Premier University upset Chittagong University beating them by 27 runs in the Dokhina First Inter-University T20 Cricket Tournament at the Divisional Women’s Sports complex here on Thursday.
Earlier on Wednesday, Chittagang University made a good start beating Independent University by eight wickets in their opening match.
In the day’s match, Premier University batted first after winning the toss and scored 171 for 7 in stipulated 20 overs.
Farhan of Premier University played a hurricane innings of 38-ball 77 runs and was adjudged man of the match. Adnan claimed two wickets.
In reply, Chittagong University were all out for 144 runs in 18.3 overs with Rakibul making 34 and Faisal 31 runs.
Rana grabbed three wickets while Sanif, Moazzem and Raihanul took two wickets each.
Earlier in the day’s first match, International Islamic University beat Chittagong Independent University by 10 wickets at the same venue on Thursday.
Favoured by coin, Independent University opened the innings first were bundled out for 44 runs in 19.4 overs with Himel scoring 24 and Akash not out 11 runs. Miraj, Ihsan and Farhad took two wickets each.
Chasing a target off 45 runs, Islamic University reached their ultimate goal of 45 runs spending only 3.3 overs with Sadek making 17 runs.
Islamic University captain Mirajul, who earlier took two wickets conceding four runs and later scored an unbeaten 14 runs off balls, named as man of the match.
