Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) will arrange Premier Division Hockey League in December. The hockey competition will get underway in first week of December.
The Executive Committee of BHF took the decision in a meeting held on Tuesday.
After the meeting, President of Bangladesh Hockey Federation and Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat said, ” We took some decisions in the meeting of the Executive Committee.”
Earlier, BHF suspended four hockey officials of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and Mariners Youngs Club on June 7, 2018.
BHF assured the two teams that it will withdraw the suspension if the two teams will take part in the upcoming Premier Division Hockey League.
Meanwhile, Usha Krira Chakra, a giant of Premier Division Hockey League did not take part in the Premier Division Hockey League in 2018. Thus the Usha Krira were relegated to First Division Hockey League. Usha Krira Chakra applied to BHF if BHF withdraws the decision Usha will compete in the Premier Division Hockey League.
The BHF will take the decision of the fate of the Usha Krira Chakra within seven days.
