The Cute Premier Handball League begins tomorrow at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansoor Ali National Handball Stadium. Bangladesh Handball Federation will arrange the handball competition with the financial assistance of Mousumi Industries Limited.A total of nine teams will take part in the single league basis competition. The participating teams are: Menjis Krira Chakra, Narinda Progoti Boys Club, Surjodoy Krira Chakra, Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club, Old Ideals, Bhratrito Sangha, Victoria Sporting Club, Prime Sporting Club and Arambagh Krira Sangha. Highest point earner team of the league will be the champions of the handball meet.Regarding this handball competition, a press conference was held at the Dutch-Bangla Bank Auditorium in Bangladesh Olympic Association Bhaban on Wednesday.General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Chairman of the League Organising Committee Sheikh Md Maruf Hasan, Director of Mousumi Industries Limited Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal, Chief of Marketing and Sales of Mousumi Industries Limited Kazi Niaz Ibne Mahtab and Secretary of the League Organising Committee Md Jahangir Hossain spoke at the conference. The budget of the league has been estimated at Tk six lakh and ninety thousand while Mousumi Industries Limited, the sponsor of the meet has given Tk five lakh to Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) and BHF will bear rest of the expenditure from its own fund.
