The Bangladesh Premier Football League will begin from Tuesday (April 7) at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS).
The decision was taken to the 53rd Professional League Committee’s meeting held on Friday afternoon at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) conference room with Professional League Committee’s chairman and BFF senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy in the chair.
BFF president Kazi M Salahuddin and Professional Football League committee’s deputy chairman Abdur Rahim were, among others, also present in the meeting.
The participating all eleven clubs of the Premier League will be given Taka 25 lakh as participation money.
The matches will be held in home and away basis and the first phase matches will be held at BNS.
After the meeting, BFF president Kazi M Salahuddin handed over prize money to Federation Cup 2015 champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club and runners-up Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra.
