The National Bank Limited Dhaka Metropolis Premier Division Volleyball League started at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium on Sunday. Deputy Managing Director of National Bank Limited Syed Md Barikullah inaugurated the volleyball meet by releasing the balloons as the chief guest. Senior Vice-President of National Bank Limited Jahangir Bin Hamid, President of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) and President of BGMEA Md Atiqul Islam, General Secretary of BVF Ashiqur Rahman Miku, Chairman of the League Committee Tabiur Rahman, Secretary of the League Committee Md Sirajul Islam were present at the time.
A total of 10 teams splitting into two groups are taking part in the volleyball meet. Bangladesh Power Development Board, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Water Development Board, Fire Service & Civil Defence, Dhaka Green are in Group A while Titas Club, Bangladesh Police, Wari Club, Azad Sporting Club, Bangladesh Jail team are in Group B.
The volleyball competition will be concluded on March 13.
