Asharaful Islam and Roman Sarkar of Abahani Limited scored two goals each and their teammates Tajuddin Ahmed, Taher Ali, Shailendra Bundela, Gunasekar Malahlan, Mohammad Mohsin successfully struck one time each on the board.
Din Islam Imon struck the consolation for the losers.
In the day’s other match, Wari Club eased past Bangladesh Police Hockey Club by 7-1 goals at the same venue.
Billal Hossain, Samir Roy of Wari Club scored two goals each and their teammates Avi, Ashiq Mahmud, Suprajit netted one goal each.
Mahfuzur Rahman pulled off one for the losers.
