A pregnant school teacher was arrested by law enforcers on Sunday at Kolapara on allegation of Face-Book instigating post
about ongoing students’ protest demanding safe road.
The teacher identified as Nusrat Jahan Sonia is an Assistant Teacher of Dakkhin Tiakhali Government Primary School. She is an inhabitant of Nesarabad village of Kolapara upazila.
Kolapara police filed a case against her under the “57 section” of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act and arrested her from school premises. Police prayed for seven days remand after producing her in the court. The court granted two days jail gate interrogation, considering her physical condition.
