A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Department of Prisons and PRAN recently.
Under the agreement, processed foods of PRAN will be provided among the prison’s canteen located in the different prisons of the country for the welfare of the inmates.
In the ceremony, Inspector General of Prisons Brig Gen Syed Iftekhar Uddin said, PRAN is a renowned food manufacturing and exporting company in home and abroad. Hopefully, under the negotiation, we will get standard processed food at the prisons across the country.
Eleash Mridha, director of PRAN said, PRAN Products are produced from the fresh crops of 80 thousand contract farmers of PRAN. Currently, we are marketing our product in home as well as exporting products in 121 countries with reputation.
