PRAN-RFL group has set up an industrial park at Sayestaganj of Habiganj recently.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith inaugurated the park as chief guest, says a press release.
The chief guest visited the new factory at Habiganj and praised the PRAN-RFL group authority for taking such an initiative. It will help to boost local economy also, he said.
Maj Gen Amjad Khan Chowdhury, Chief Executive of PRAN-RFL group, said that the industrial park has been built up on about 200 acres of land and Tk 1700 crore needed to run the project.
“We are grateful to Asian Development Bank (ADB), DEG, EDC and local financing company for coming forward to finance the project”.
Liquid glucose, processed foods, Flexible packaging, plastic & PVC products, bicycle, electric cable, glass, ceramics, medical equipments, foam and toiletries will be produced at the industrial park.
