Two-day long ‘PRAN Mango-Holy Cross College’ science fair-2015 was held at the college premises in the city with a view to exposing the innovative and creative ideas of the students, says a press release.
The science festival started from Friday, organised by the Science Club of Holy Cross College.
Prof Anwar Hossain of Biochemistry Department of Dhaka University was present as the chief guest of the award giving ceremony. He highly appreciated the creative and innovative potentialities of the students.
Prof Dr M Kaikobad of CSE Department of BUET and Prof Dr Jesmin of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Department of Dhaka University were present as the special guests.
Sister Shikha Gomes, Principal of Holy Cross College and Gias Uddin, Assistant Brand Manager of PRAN Mango Fruit Drink were also present at the programme.
Around 300 students from 17 educational institutions have displayed 73 science projects.
