The Agricultural Marketing Company Ltd-AMCL (PRAN) has declared 32 percent dividend to its shareholders for the year 2013-2014.
The dividend was announced at the 29th Annual General Meeting of Agricultural Marketing Company Ltd held at Trust Milonayaton, 545 Old Airport Road, Dhaka Cantonment on Wednesday, said a press release.
The release said that despite stiff competition in the market, the pre-tax profit of the company was Tk. 70.70 million in 2013-14 while gross turnover was Tk. 1934.56 million. The total export figure was Tk. 235.3 million (including incentive).
The AGM ended by seeking continued support of the investors of the company and with a vote of thanks to the chair.
Chairman of the company AMCL (PRAN) Lt Col (retd), Mahtabuddin Ahmed (Retd), Managing Director Maj Gen (retd) Amjad Khan Chowdhury (Retd), Deputy Managing Director Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Director Sabiha Amjad, Independent Director M. A. Mannan, Director Finance Uzma Chowdhury, Executive Director Md. Eleash Mridha, Chief Financial Officer Choudhury Atiur Rasul, Director Marketing Chowdhury Kamruzzaman, and Company Secretary Muhammad Aminur Rahman attended the AGM among others.
