PRAN, one of the largest processed food conglomerates of the country, signed a licensing deal with Australia-based Byron Bay Chilli Company to manufacture sauce and salsa in Bangladesh.
As per the deal, PRAN can manufacture, distribute and market the products in this region. The company can use Byron Bay’s recipe, technology. The sauce and salsa will be exported to other countries gradually.
John Boland, founding director of the Byron Bay Chilli Company and Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director of PRAN-RFL Group, finalized the agreement at its head office in Dhaka recently.
Shaikh Sajjad Hossain, Chief Operating Officer of PRAN Agro Limited, Toshan Paul, Category Manger, Ashek Karim Khan, Operations Manager were also present on the occasion.
