Eastern Bank Ltd. (EBL) is to provide EBL SKYPAY, a payment gateway service powered by MasterCard to Pragati Life Insurance Ltd. (PLIL). Pragati Life Insurance customer will be able to pay insurance premium through PLIL website (www.pragatilife.com) using Diners Club, MasterCard, or Visa credit or debit cards. EBL will process the online payments through EBL SKYPAY.
M. Nazeem A. Choudhury, Head of Consumer Banking of EBL and S. M. Ziaul Hoque, General Manager, Operations of PLIL signed an agreement to this effect on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Pragati Life Insurance’s Head Office, in Dhaka.
Pragati Life Insurance CEO Md. Jalalul Azim, CFO Chandra Shekhar Das ; EBL Head of Digital Banking and Payments Zahidul Haque, Head of Direct Business M. Khorshed Anowar were present among others on the occasion.
