PowerPac to set up two power plants

PowerPac Holdings Limited, one of the leading power generation companies of Bangladesh, is going to set up two power plants in the country.
Keeping in mind, the company signed two separate EPC and Financing agreement of a total of $210 Million with ‘Power China’ on Wednesday, according to a press release. Two power Plants are ‘Keraniganj 160 Mega Watt (MW) Dual Fuel (HFO/Gas) Power Plant’ and ‘Khulna 100 Mega Watt HFO based Power Plant’.
The ‘Keraniganj 160 Mega Watt (MW) Dual Fuel Power Plant’ is set to be established at Keraniganj near the Capital, adjacent to the existing 100 MW HFO based Power Plant of PowerPac Holdings Ltd., while the ‘Khulna 100 Mega Watt HFO based Power Plant’ will be established in Khulna.
Ron Haque Sikder, Managing Director of the PowerPac Holdings Limited signed the agreement for Keraniganj Power Plant with Pan Dengyu, Vice President of Power China and for ‘Khulna 100 Mega Watt HFO based Power Plant’ with Yan Laihu, Vice President of Power China on behalf of the respective companies.
