Planning Minister M A Mannan claimed that the power month might to be the end of the sufferings of people.
He made the remarks while addressing as the Chief Guest in a discussion meeting on the occasion of the Janmashtami in Sunamganj on Friday.
“We are in a temporary trouble due to some countries and the situation is out of control. The prices of daily essentials have gone up. There is shortage of electricity. Oil import is facing trouble. So people have fallen in trouble temporarily,” he added.
“Our head of the government is anxious about it. We want to clearly say that this month will be the end of the current sufferings. We will go on the path of development in full swing from next month,” he asserted.
In response to a query, the minister said, “There is no minority or majority. We are all Bangalees and the citizens of Bangladesh. The law is amended with the passage of time. This State is for the people and laws will be enacted for the people.”
