The residents of South Goran, Khilgaon and Taltola areas of Dhaka city faced power outage from 5:00 pm of Tuesday. Electricity supply was not restored till writing of the report at 09.30 pm last night.
Central Control Room of Power Development Board (PDB) told the
reporter that the electricity supply to these areas had been shut down due to a fire incident at Taltola sub-station. The PDB technicians were working to restore electricity supply as early as possible.
Razia Sultana said, it was really a very hard day for the residents of South Goran. We do not know how long will we remain in the dark?
