The ‘Speedy Supply of Power and Energy (Special Provision) (Amendment) Bill, 2018’ was passed by Parliamenton Wednesday, extending some provisions of the existing law by three years.
The bill sought the amendment as the construction of power plants for ensuring quick supply
The ‘Speedy Supply of Power and Energy (Special Provision) (Amendment) Bill, 2018’ was passed by Parliamenton Wednesday, extending some provisions of the existing law by three years.
The bill sought the amendment as the construction of power plants for ensuring quick supply
of power and energy in the country is yet to complete. State Minister for Power and Energy Nasrul Hamid Bipu moved the bill and it was passed by voice vote.
With the passage of the bill, some provisions of the Speedy Supply of Power and Energy (Special Provision) Act-2010 will remain effective tillOctober 11, 2021.
