Seven-year-old Posto lives with his grandparents since both his parents are modern-day ambitious individuals. Posto cannot imagine a day without his grandparents, Dinen and Gauri, and neither can they. But one day Posto’s parents are offered an opportunity to settle abroad. However, this means Posto would have to leave his grandparents. Unwilling to let go of their grandson, Dinen and Gauri fight to gain the custody of the little boy. When they are unable to reach common ground, the case is dragged to court, where a heart-wrenching story of love and attachment unfolds.
It is the story of Kolkata’s Bengali movie Posto, which is scheduled to be released across Bangladesh’s 20 cinema halls like Star Cineplex, Modhumita, Jamuna Blockbuster, etc on September 22. It was released in India on May 17 of this year. Soumitra Chatterjee, Jishu Sengupta, Mimi Chakraborty, Sohini Sen, Poran Bondyopadhyay, among others, acted in different roles in this movie. Khan Brothers of Bangladesh imported the film in Bangladesh.
