Diversified cultural practices of ethnic minorities are valuable resources of the country and various elements of these are focusing points of the communities.
So, a positive attitude to flourish the cultural tradition has become crucial for national development. In the country, all are equal and the present government under the prudent and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly to this end.
Administrative officials and professional leaders came up with the
observation while addressing a seminar titled “Way forward to preservecultural heritages of the ethnic minorities” in Rajshahi .
Rajshahi Divisional Ethnic Minority Cultural Academy (RDEMCA) organized the
seminar at its conference hall addressed by Commissioner of Rajshahi divisionGSM Zafarullah as chief guest.
RDEMCA Executive Members Prof Ruhul Amin Pramanik, Jogendra Nath Saren and Chittaranjan Sarker also spoke on the occasion, while Additional Deputy Commissioner Kalyan Chowdhury was in the chair, reports BSS.
Commissioner Zafarullah said non-communal cultural elements can prevent division among people so its substantial and sustainable expansion is needed.
He viewed that Bangladesh is now on a development roadmap. The present government has announced that the country will be elevated to a developed one by 2041 and it has been working to attain the goal of inclusive development.
Later, the chief guest accompanied by others concerned inaugurated the newly constructed main gate of the academy and renovated hall room. Subsequently, they enjoyed a colorful cultural function performed by the academy artists.
