The office of 7 officers of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) has been changed. CMP Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir confirmed the matter to media on Monday (March 1). According to CMP sources, Abdul Warish, who is the Deputy Commissioner of City SB of the city police, has been given the post of Deputy Commissioner of West Zone of CMP.
Jasim Uddin, who joined CMP as Deputy Commissioner, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner (Ports and North). Shakila Soltana has been transferred to the post of Deputy Commissioner Traffic (Port). MN Nasiruddin, Deputy Commissioner Crime, has been transferred to the post of Deputy Commissioner, Traffic South Division and Farooq-ul-Haq, Deputy Commissioner, West Division, has been transferred to the post of Deputy Commissioner, DB (West and Ports) Division.
Manzoor Morshed, who has been holding the post, has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner of City SB. Besides, Deputy Commissioner (Traffic Port) Tareq Ahmed has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Traffic (West) and Deputy Commissioner Traffic (West) Zainul Abedin has been posted as Deputy Commissioner ( crime).
