Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Mohammad Mahabubur Rahman today said that the entire Chattogram city would be brought under CCTV surveillance within a month.
“The entire city will be brought under CCTV surveillance system to ensure people’s security and contain crimes,” the CMP commissioner disclosed this while inaugurating CCTV camera network programme in city’s Doublemooring thana at Bangabandhu conference of world trade centre.
Speaking on the occasion additional CMP commissioner Amena Begum said the CCTV network of CMP would be integrated with traffic system for smooth operation of traffic management in the city.
Deputy Commissioner of CMP Kamrul Islam conducted the inaugural function while CMP Deputy Commissioner Farkul Hoque presided over the function.
