National Film Award winning singer Dilshad Nahar Kona rendered many songs for television dramas which got popularity among the viewers. In the dramas, most of the time popular or noted actresses lip-synched with Kona rendered songs. But this time it has become an exceptional matter. This Eid popular singer of new generation Sabrina Porshi acted in Mahin Mahmud directed drama titled ‘Shadi Mubarak.’ The drama has already aired in a TV channel during Eid-ul-Azha. For this drama, Kona lent her voice for a song titled ‘Toke Chhara Ami.’ Kona has rendered the song on July 13 night which lyrics were written by Ahmed Rizvi and music was composed by Avraal Sahir. During that time this correspondent talked with singer Kona after completing recording of the song at the studio.
While talking in this regard, Kona said, “I didn’t know that my rendered this song will be lip-synched by Porshi. In fact, it did not matter because earlier I never wanted to know my song will be lip-synched by whom. But when I knew that this song will be lip-synched by singer Porshi – overall full thing felt like interesting to me. I gave my level best effort while rendering this song like previous times I lent my voice for songs which were lip-synched by Mehzabien, Tanjin Tisha and other actresses in dramas. I am a professional singer. So, from the point of view of my professionalism I tried to render the song cordially and attentively. Now viewers will give their judgment about my song.”
Singer and actress Porshi shared her feelings by this way, “In fact, during shooting, director, co-actors and I decided that Kona Apu will render the song for the drama. Most of the people know that Kona Apu is my favourite singer. Nancy Apu is also my favourite. But we selected Kona Apu for rendering the song for this drama. I seemed Kona Apu’s voice will be perfect for this song and she will be perfect match for me. On Wednesday night, I informed that Kona Apu has lent her voice for the song. I hope overall it has become a nice work.”
It is noted that Avraal Sahir is co-singer of Kona in the song. The drama ‘Shadi Mubarak’ is expected to be aired on a YouTube channel also.
Meanwhile, Porshi also said that in ‘Shadi Mubarak,’ she had to act without script which was really a challenging matter for her. It was director’s order. Farhan is co-actor of Porshi in the drama ‘Shadi Mubarak.’
On the other hand, on Friday morning, Kona will perform on ATN Bangla while she has scheduled to perform at night on SA TV. On July 18, the singer will also perform at Dhaka Cantonment, Kona said.
