Entertainment Desk :Pori Moni is set to be the face of Rokto, which is Jazz Multimedia’s latest production.The house that was searching for a “new face” initially, ended up signing the popular actress.Malek Afsari will direct the thriller film, which is a joint production of India and Bangladesh. It will be Pori Moni’s first film under the banner of Jazz Multimedia.The actress is very hopeful about the film. During the “mohorot” of the film held at a five-star hotel in the capital recently , Pori Moni said, “My director is my only support in Rokto.”In the film, Pori Moni will be seen portraying the role of an action figure for the first time on screen. “It is undoubtedly a challenging job, and I do not take up any challenge that I cannot overcome. I know I will be able to do it in Rokto,but viewers will have to wait till the release of the film. I can ensure this much that something good is on the process which can last through ages.”Roshan Rikto has been cast opposite to Pori in the film.Abdullah Zahir Babu and Kolkata’s Pele Bhattacharya have written dialogues of the film, while Savy and Akash will direct the film’s music. Shooting will take place at different locations of Bangladesh, India and Thailand.
