State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder urged the authorities concerned to popularize the local treatment (Ayurvedic & Unani)) for preventing diseases, especially dengue fever.
“Local treatment is playing a vital role in the health sector of the different countries, including China, Hong Kong, North Korea and South Korea. The country’s local treatment method, Unani and Ayurvedic, is effective for human body, he said.
Kamal Mojumder mentioned that the treatment can be used as an alternative method to control Aedes mosquito and dengue fever.
The state minister said this while inaugurating the helpdesk for providing free treatment and advice regarding dengue fever and free Herbal tree distribution programme at the Government Unani and Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital at Mirpur in the city.
