Poppy`s three plays in Eid-ul-Azha

Sheikh Arif Bulbon :While working in movies most of the time heroines have to face various types of problems from their fans. Among them, there are some ‘mad like fans’ who also propose the heroines to tie the nuptial knot with them. Hasan Jahangir is that type of a fan of popular film actress Poppy who proposed Poppy to marry him. This type of story will be seen in a play titled Nayikar Biye, which will be aired in Eid-ul-Azha. TR Arif will make this play under story concept given by Hasan Jahangir. Three times National Film Award winning actress Sadika Parvin Poppy will act in the central role in the play. Therefore, Poppy will also act in Ahmed Alvi Maya’s directed another play titled Innocent Love, which story was written by Farhana Rahman. Hasan Jahangir will also act against her in this play.Poppy will finish shooting of these two plays between September 10 and 16. While talking in this regard Poppy told this correspondent, “In last Eid, I worked in two plays. This time I have worked in three plays. Basically stories these two plays inspired me to act. Therefore, now there is lack of original story. From that point of view I have agreed to work in these two plays. These two plays will go on air in two satellite channels in Eid-ul-Azha.”Today is birthday of Poppy. She confirmed that like previous years she will celebrate her birthday under homely arrangements. She will only bee seen on the screen of Channel i today. She will be present as invited guest at Citycell Taroka Kathon today at 12:30pm. Producer of the programme Anonna Ruma confirmed the matter yesterday.Therefore, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha Poppy also acted another play titled Expression Of Love under DA Tayeb’s direction. Its story was written by Rudra Mahfuz. Meanwhile, as a pair with DA Tayeb Poppy is also acting in Jahangir Alam Sumon’s directed movie Sonabondhu. After Eid it’s shooting will continue in full-fledged, Poppy said.It may be mentioned that to act in Kalam Kaisar’s movie Karagar, Nargis Akhter’s Megher Koley Rode and Wahiduzzaman Diamond’s Gangajatra Poppy got the National Film Award for three times.
