Last year the three times National Film Award winner actress Poppy performed as a model in a TV commercial. Later she did not perform as a model in any other TVC. This year she is going to work in a new TVC. She will perform as a model in a TVC of a multinational company’s tractor. Poppy confirmed that matter to its maker on first day of holy Ramzan.
Poppy informed that shooting of the TVC will begin at Pubail in Gazipur next week. Promising TVC-maker A Rahman will make the TVC.
While talking about to work in the TVC Sadika Parvin Poppy told this correspondent, “I get many offers to work in many TVCs. But due to mismatch of bat and ball I do not agree. I have like theme and concept of this TVC so I have agreed to perform as a model in this new TVC. If the viewers made it carefully I can be a successful work.”
Before acting in big screen Poppy first performed as a model in TVC. She first performed as a model in a TVC of Berger Paints under Mumbai’s noted TVC-maker Kutu Banerjee’s direction. This TVC became popular among the viewers. Later Poppy became engaged with acting in movies.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of coming Eid, Poppy also acted in a play titled Mental under Kaisar Ahmed’s direction. Main story of the play revolves with her. Therefore, she is expected to work more one or two works on the occasion of Eid. Poppy acted last released movie was Nargis Akter’s Poush Masher Piriti. Her acted first movie was Montazur Rahman Akbar’s Koolie against Omar Sani.
It is noted that Poppy started her career in media after winning the crown of Ananda Bichitra Photo Beauty Pageant in 1995.
