As a female, popular film actress Poppy has been working to create awareness among women about the use of gas cylinders in different parts of the country. She has been also taking part in seminars in these areas for using Bashundhara LP gas. Poppy is very much delighted to be part of this activity from December. In the seminars, she not only encourages the females but also the males to use these cylinders.
She believes if this type of seminar is to be arranged continuously people will get beneficiary in this regard. She said, “I am really happy to be part of this kind of activities. Using this cylinder cooking can be done within short time. I am trying to present how females can safely use these in their household works. As a female, I am very much happy and delighted to participate in such type of activities.”
Poppy also informed that she has already taken part in different districts like Sylhet, Rajshahi, Satkhira, Khulna, Bogra, Bagerhat, etc. This year she is going to act two new movies.
One is Shahidul Haque Khan’s Juddho Shishu and Sadeque Siddiqui’s Sahoshi Joddha. She liked stories of these two movies.
“In these two movies, I will act in two different roles. I am taking necessary preparation in this regard. I believe these will become nice works,” Poppy said.
Last Saturday Poppy went to Shariatpur to attend a show there by riding helicopter. She later returned to Dhaka on that day. She got National Film Award for three times.
