After taking a long time break due to Corona pandemic, National Film Award winning actress Poppy has returned to acting. She has returned to acting through Raju Alim and Masuma Tani directed movie Bhalobasar Projapoti. Poppy informed that five days shooting of the film has already been done. Within very short time shooting of its next phase will start. Poppy is acting in role of a corona infected doctor named Purba in the movie.
While acting in the movie Poppy said, “While acting in this movie I realised how the doctors of our country worked during corona pandemic despite having their life risks. Their news of services attracted our attention on news of TV channels and newspapers. But while acting in role of Purba in the movie I have realised it more. Lives of doctors are really tough and challenging. They have to provide services to the patients without thinking of their family lives.”
Poppy also informed that after returning acting through this movie she also got offer to work in several numbers of films. But Poppy did not like story of any film. She is also getting offer to act in TV dramas but due to mismatch she did not agree to work.
While talking in this regard Poppy said, “We are working in such an industry where works of professional actors are being decreased day by day. But these actors have such quality to act in challenging roles. If an actor gets hisher liking character heshe obviously agrees to work to prove himherself despite does not like hisher remuneration. But unfortunately it is not developing in our country. It is sorry to say that many senior actors are passing days without works and they are staying at their homes now. If we look into our neighbourhood country, there senior actors are acting in versatile roles in movies. If we become cordial we can utilise them in movies.”
