Besides acting in movies, National Film Award winner actress Poppy is also seen to work in special days’ plays and telefilms. For the first time, viewers will watch her in a web series.
Poppy has already taken part in shooting of Indubala in Kolkata which is being directed by Anonno Mamun.
After completing shooting of several episodes Poppy has returned to Dhaka on October 21.
She will again go to Kolkata, according to her, it is an international web series. She is playing its title role in the series.
While talking in this regard Poppy told this correspondent, “From the beginning I was supposed to work in this web series. But someone was urged to cast instead me. At last, I am acting in role of Indubala. Though it is a web series but its presentation is like cinematic. So, I am very much impressed to work in the series. Earlier in Bangladesh, this type of web series did not make. So, I feel proud with it. Now viewers will give their judgment after telecasting the series.”
Poppy also informed that within very short days shooting of Poppy’s two movies – Save Life and Cut-Piece.
