Kazi Hayat directed movie Aammajan was a milestone in the country’s film arena. Living legend of the film industry Shabnam played the title role in that movie. Popular film actress Sadika Parvin Poppy is very much fond of acting of Shabnam. Though Poppy did not get the scope to work with her in the big screen, but she has a lot respect and love to this legendary actress. For this reason,
Poppy had interest to meet her.
Recently Poppy met with Shabnam at a homely programme. Poppy stayed behind Shabnam for three years in a row in that programme. She became impressed to see Shabnam there. While talking in this regard Poppy told this correspondent, “Respected Shabnam Madam is our pride. Few days ago, I got the opportunity to see her closely in a homely arrangement. Her personality, talking style and fashion consciousness impressed me a lot. I tried to know how she leads her life as normal as she is a legendary heroine of our film industry. I always wish her success and good health.” Shabnam shared her feelings by this way, “Earlier I talked with Poppy over mobile phone. Few days ago, we met in a programme. She is very much cute to look at. She is tall in height with smiling face which impressed me. If she is used properly in movies the country will get some good movies. I wish her success.”
Now Shabnam is staying in Pakistan. She is taking part in different talk shows there. She is expected to return to Bangladesh soon, according to the actress.
Poppy informed that her acted movie Sahosi Joddha, directed by Sadeque Siddiqui, is waiting to get release date.
