Roksana Akter Popi got appreciation to act in dramas Opekkha, Rajlokkhi, Rupkumar-er Gao, Ekhono Hoini Fera, Tobuo Hridoyer Gohine, Tumi Ferale Shunnyohaate, Shudhui Ki Bhalobesechhile, Ek Dusswapno Raater Golpo, Sokhi Tumi Aamar and many more telecasted in different TV channels including BTV. Due to her illness, she stayed in India for long time. For this reason, Popi was detached from acting during those days.
After returning to country from India she had not to participate in shooting of work due to Corona pandemic.
Now Popi wants to be regular in acting in TV dramas. She wants to acting in movie. While talking in this regard Popi said, “I had to struggle a lot due to my sickness. With Allah’s blessing I am well now. I want to be regular in acting again. I believe Inshallah I will keep myself in work soon.”
Popi started her career in media through anchoring in BTV. She hosted BTV’s mother and children related show for three years in a row. Besides performing as model in TVC of Robi under Amitabh Reza’s direction, Popi also worked under Bipul-Irin’s direction as a model. Yesterday was her birthday. She passed the day by own way. Hailed from Brahmanbaria, daughter of Golam Mostafa, Popi is the youngest among her nine siblings.
