The spunky actress who is doing a film inspired by the life of our former Defence Minister the late Manohar Parrikar is upset at the way pin-up girl Poonam Pandey has misused the law and the media. Poonam Karekar-Govekar claims that the entire FIR episode and the subsequent arrest of her newly-wed husband Sam Bombay was a well-thought of and cold-blooded publicity stunt. She wanted to be in the national news. And when news of her marriage failed to get her in the limelight, she resorted to a sinister plan, which is however well-known and an old trick when it comes to sensationalism and controversy. It was well-planned.
