Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu said that the 11th parliamentary elections reflected the confidence of the country’s people on the massive development activities unleashed by the Awami League government over the last 10 years.
“Urban facilities will be reached to the rural areas through maintaining
the continuity of development,” he said this on Tuesday while exchanging pleasantries with the officials and employees of the Ministry marking the English New Year.Secretary-in-Charge of the Ministry M Abdul Halim, senior officials of the Ministry and other high officials of the various Departments and Agencies under the Ministry were present.
Amu said the country’s people exercised their valuable voting rights through ballots in the just held national election since the Awami League government, under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, attained unprecedented successes in various socio-economic fields over the last 10 years.
He also expressed his firm optimism that Bangladesh would become as a prosperous and developed country much before the targeted 2041 period under the worthy leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The minister also opined that the Awami League government would be able to give a befitting reply to the confidence that the country’s people kept on the government.
Earlier, the officials and employees of the Ministry led by the Secretary-in-Charge M Abdul Halim greeted the Minister with flower bouquets for becoming a member of the parliament again in the 11th national elections.
