Politics in rural areas made difficult

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad said, politics has been made difficult and violent in the country’s rural areas in the recent days by way of holding UP election with party symbol.
In the past, there was no report of casualties in a large number in the local government election, he said.
The former president of the republic said it at his Banani office on Thursday in the party’s central executive committee meeting.
Ershad said, the law and order situation in the
country has deteriorated alarmingly. But there is no need of foreign assistance to tackle this situation.
He said also that we do not believe in the politics of hartal and arson. We want to win hearts of the people developing good relationship .
Begum Raushan Ershad, Senior Co-Chairman of Jatiya party and opposition leader in the Parliament said in the meeting that in the past there were lots of confusion. But from now there is no more any hesitation.
She said that leaders and activists of the Jatiya party did not do anything to harm politics. She also urged the chairman to honor past leaders and activists of the party.
ABM Ruhul Amin Hawlader, Secretary General of the party said, the party awaits bright future. He urged everyone to work comprehensively to make the conference meaningful on 14 May.
Among others, Presidium members of the party Abul Kasem, Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Golam Habib Dulal, Prof Delwar Hossain, Golam Kibria Tipu, Sahidur Rahman, Professor Masuda M. Rashid Chowdhury, Fakhrul Imam MP, Noor-e-Hasna Lily Chowdhury, SM Abdul Mannan, Masud Parvez Sohel Rana, Sunil Shuvo Roy, SM Faisal Chisti, Mir Abdus Sabur Asud, Haji Saifuddin Ahmed Milon, Mahasina Rashid, Tajul Islam Chowdhury, MP, and Solaiman Alam Sheth were present at the meeting.
