Although almost a month has passed, the incident of Doctor Kazi Sabira Rahman alias Lipi, who was brutally murdered at her residence in Kalabagan on May 31, the clue of the murder remains uncovered. Despite the help of his relatives, tenants and modern technology for a long time, the police have not been able to find out any clue thereof.
However, the case is being investigated keeping in view all the possible clues, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kalabagan
Police Station Paritosh Chandra Das. On Friday, the OC told the New Nation that victims’ relatives were questioned more than once about the cause and who was involved in the incident. But no evidence of involvement in the killing could be obtained from them.
We are using modern technology and scientific methods in the investigation to confirm the facts. In that case, of course, we will be able to bring out the real cause of this incident and those responsible, OC added.
It is learned that the used mobile of the brutal murder victim was sent to the chemical laboratory for the research and investigation.
The report already has come from there. None yet knows what might have happened before or after the incident, and we are trying to figure out who might have come to Kalabagan’s house to make sure about the killers. Experts have already spoken on the sketch. In that case, the process may be completed next week, police sources said.
After the incident, the relatives of the deceased suspected that many people used to travel to the sublet flat of Kaniz Subarna, a student and model who lived with doctor Sabira.
In addition to modeling, she also ran an online business with the private company Daraj. She may have been involved in the incident. Let her be interrogated. Because she went out to walk from that house before the incident.
Besides, when she returned home, she saw smoke coming out from Lipi’s house and informed her relatives.
Notwithstanding, the OC confirmed that Subarna was not involved in the matter.
