Police working relentlessly to free country from drug, militancy

Additional Inspector General (Admin and Crime) of Police Headquarters Muklesur Rahman said , the country’s law enforce agencies including police have been putting it’s best and sincere efforts to free the society from drug, terrorism and militancy.  
 He said this while formally inaugurating the newly constructed Office building of Netrakona Sadar Circle Office on Netrakona Model police station premises as the chief guest on Thursday.
 The government sanctioned Tk 1.29 cr for constructing the building for Sadar Circle Office to mitigate the sufferings and accommodation problem of the members of police.
 Superintendent of Police (SP), Netrakona Joydeb Chowdhory presided over the inaugural function while , Deputy inspector general (DIG) of police , Mymenshing Range Nibash Chandra Majhi, Additional DIG Akkas Uddin Bhuyan, SP in Mymensing DIG Office Syed Harunur Rashid attended the meeting as the special guest.
 Muklesur Rahman said, the government has already declared zero tolerance against corruption, drug, terrorism and militancy. In this context, he underlined the need for creating awareness among the much people and gear up anti-drug movement in the society.
Later, he inaugurated the annual police rally and sports-2019 at Netrakona police line premises here as chief guest. Chaired by SP Netrakona Joydeb Chowdhory, the function was attended by the DIG Nibash Chandra Majhi, ADIG Akkas Uddin Bhuiyan and SP Syed Harunur Rashid as special guests.
 Inaugurating the police rally and sports competition , AIGP Muklesur Rahman issued instructions to the police personnel to discharge their duties with utmost sincerity, devotion and honesty by rising them above their self-interest for upholding the image of the police department.
