Aimed at learning about opinions and complaints of the citizens about the service provided by the law enforcers in line with the national integrity strategy,
Bangladesh Police has included a new menu titled “Opinion or Complaint” on its website.
Inspector General of Police AKM Shahidul Hoque addressed a ceremony marking the inclusion of new menu on the website, at the police headquarters recently, a police release said.
“It is a pro-people step to ensure transparency and accountability in policing. People will be able to express their constructive opinions about policing and also can lodge their complaints through this online platform,” IGP Hoque said.
The top cop also hoped that his colleagues will be more responsible in providing service and sought help from the people in this regard.
