Police unearth clue of robbery in Netrakona

Police after making vigorous investigation have unearthed the clue of the incident of a daring robbery committed at a house of the Barhatta upazila parishad officers quarters in broad daylight on July 2.
Police sources said, a band of robbers stormed into the official residence of Abdullah -Al- Mamun, Junior Auditor of the Barhatta upazila accounts office in the morning of July 1.
The dacoits looted gold ornaments, mobile- SIM cards and cash money from the house by making the auditor’s wife Aheda Akter as hostage at arms points.
Since after the incident, a police team of Barhatta police station under the direct supervision of the Assistant Police Super of Barhatta circle Aminul Islam conducted a series of raids in various parts of the capital city and Barhatta upazila to capture the robbers and recover the looted goods.
Finally, the police team caught three robbers red-handed from Mirpur area of capital city Dhaka and recovered four gold-made ear – rings, one gold made chain, a mobile SIM card, taka 2000 in cash and some other valuables from their possession on last July 12.
The arrested robbers were identified as Abul Basher, 26, son of Abu Hussain of village Taragorma under the Barhatta upazila, Rubel , 25, son of Golam Mustafa of village Birkarua under Mymensing district and Rubel Mia,26, son of Monnaf Hawlader of village Lakkipur under Pirojpur district, the officer-in-charge of the Barhatta police station Mohammmad Salemuzzaman said.
