Police to ensure security for Nat’l Mourning Day programmes

Kishoreganj Police Super Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar) ensured highest security for the National Mourning Day programs on August 15 marking the 46th martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The SP told the New Nation that August is the month of mourning when Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and most of his family members were brutally killed.
He gave the directives to 13 Police Stations, Investigation centers, Camp in charge and beat policing centres in Kishoreganj in a virtually conference where Additional SPs were present.
Kishoreganj SP reminded that many anti-state and anti-government activities had been carried out during the last couple of years. We have to be very careful as grenade attack was carried out on August 21 [in 2004] and militant groups.
Bangladesh Police have become a human force by standing beside the people in the current COVID crisis. Our position against drugs is zero tolerance.
 SP said, all to bring policing services to the doorsteps of the people through ‘ beat -Policing’
