Bangladesh Police AC takes joint lead in the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League crushing lowly Barnak Samaj by 14-2 goals at the Maulana Bhashani National Stadium here on Saturday.
They led the first half by 7-1 goals.
Mahfuzur struck six goals, Nayan scored five while Riaz, Rana and Zahed one each for the winners while Jubair and Ashraful contributed one for the losers.
With the day’s well merited victory, Police AC have secured 22 points from nine matches to share the top slot with Victoria SC.
