Police seized 147 bottles of country made and foreign liquor from Uttar Laxmipur village under Noakhali Municipality on Monday night and arrested one person in this connection. The seized item includes 134 bottles of country made liquor, four bottles of wine and 9 cans of beer.
The arrested person has been identified as Conred Blaju. Officer in Charge (OC) of Sudharam Police Station Anwar Hossain said on information police raided the house of Conred Blaju and arrested him. Later, police seized the liquors which were concealed in a steel Almirah in his house.
