Police have recovered the hanging body of a medical college student from Sharifbagh of Dhamrai Municipality in Dhaka on Sunday noon.
The deceased was identified as Sumaiya Akhter Antima (20), daughter of one Mohsin. She was a second year student of Manikganj Munnu Medical College.
According to the locals, they saw Sumaiya Akhter’s body hanging in their room in Sharifbagh area in the morning. Upon receiving the news, the police came and recovered the body of the deceased from the spot at noon.
Dhamrai Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Badiuzzamal said the body of the deceased Sumaiya Akter Antima has been recovered. No signs of injuries were found on his body. The body has been sent to Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy report.
