Hanging body of a young man was recovered from a rice warehouse where he was employed at Sheikhghat area of Sylhet city on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Ali Hossain, 22, son of Ashraf Alam Tanvir, a resident of Rajpur village of Bishwambharpur upazila in Sunamfanj district,
Hossain was an employee of the rice warehouse, owned by on Matin Miah.
Sohel Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, said other employees of the warehouse saw the body hanging around 10.30pm after returning from tarabi prayers.
Later they informed police.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue.
