Police raided Chandanpura and its
adjoining areas in the port city on Saturday evening, Nizamuddin, chief of Chawkbazar Police Station, told bdnews24.com.
At that time, four or five explosions were heard in Shibir’s metropolitan office in Chandanpura. Following the explosions, the police raided the office.
A bomb disposal unit of police has been called in, said Nizamuddin.
